Overview
NumberLocks (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information in our puzzle game.
Data Collection
We collect anonymous usage analytics to improve the game experience. This data is collected through Firebase Analytics and is NOT linked to your identity.
Analytics Data Collected:
- Game interactions: Which levels you play, completion rates, moves made, keys earned
- Vault unlocks: When you unlock new level sets
- Tutorial progress: Whether you’ve completed the tutorial
- App usage: When you launch the app, which features you use
- Performance data: App crashes, loading times, technical diagnostics
What We DON’T Collect:
- ❌ No personal information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
- ❌ No device identifiers (IDFA, advertising ID)
- ❌ No location data
- ❌ No contacts or photos
- ❌ No data linked to your identity
- ❌ No cross-app or cross-website tracking
All analytics data is anonymous and used solely to understand how players interact with the game so we can make improvements.
Local Data Storage
The app stores the following information locally on your device only:
Game Progress
- Completed levels
- Keys earned
- Unlocked vaults
- Current level state
User Preferences
- Sound effects settings
- Haptic feedback settings
- Tutorial completion status
This data never leaves your device and is stored using platform-standard secure storage mechanisms (iOS UserDefaults/Keychain).
Data Deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it at any time by:
- Uninstalling the app, or
- Clearing the app’s data through your device settings
Analytics data is anonymous and cannot be deleted individually as it’s not linked to your identity.
Third-Party Services
Firebase Analytics (Google)
We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data. Firebase is configured to:
- Not collect advertising identifiers (IDFA)
- Not enable personalized advertising
- Not track you across apps and websites
- Operate in privacy-friendly mode

No Other Third Parties
We do not share data with any other third-party services.
Children’s Privacy
NumberLocks does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. The game is safe for players of all ages. We do not:
- Require registration or account creation
- Collect personal information
- Enable communication with other players
- Include advertisements
- Include in-app purchases
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Know what data is collected (see above)
- Opt out of analytics (by not using the app or using device-level privacy controls)
- Request information about data practices (contact us)
- Delete local data (uninstall the app)
Security
We take data security seriously:
- All analytics data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS)
- Local data is stored using iOS secure storage mechanisms
- We do not store personal information on our servers
- Analytics data is anonymous and cannot be linked to you
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
